Looking back at this blog, brought up many memories of who I was a year ago, 3 years ago...

So much time have passed and the phrase "Never change" means nothing to me now. We are always in  a constant state of metamorphosis. We are always changing and things that happen always continue to define us and shape us. Our thoughts and ideals change over time and experiences. 

I like to read about the past. It's like looking at someone else's life because I don't resonate with that person anymore. Yeah, it was me. A different me from who I am now. When I was younger, people did these "profile survey" things where you had to copy and paste a whole chunk of questions and answers someone did and tagged you in, edit your answers in, tag a few other people and post it up. Then the people you tagged would continue the chain, so on and so forth. 

I recently just got a full time job (I just started it 3 days ago) and today is my off day. I am really bored though so I thought I would come take a peek at this dusty blog I have long abandoned. Anyhow, found this "profile survey" I did at 16, then re-edited last year and now I am going to re-edit it again and still leave my original answers inside so both you and I can see how much I have changed over time.

'  I still these rules are too silly. Always have thought that and I still do. I think it is a sad attempt at asking for attention and people to read about your life.

WHAT WAS YOUR...
1.last beverage: 2012 was a long time ago Water (It's still the easiest to access)
2.last phone call: Some friend which I will talk about how much I love he or she.  Mom (I still love my friends but you know,) I mostly do texts these days though.
3.last text message: Same as question 2   An Aussie friend that refuses to be named here. (Because confidentiality also became a thing to me)  Pam from work. About how life was going.
4.Last song I listened to: Some silly pop song about love. Probably Katy Perry.  The Shadow proves the sunshine (Oh, also, my taste in music has drastically changed from pop and disney to rock, alt rock, punk rock and punk. I guess you can say I'm more of a rocker chick now.) I don't remember. I like rock still and some indie artists.
5.Last time you cried: 2012 was a long time ago   When a friend got hurt. Its a painful route to learn how to love others.  An hour ago, watching Skins.

6. dated someone twice: NOPE (Hi five 2012 self, first thing we agreed on!)
7. Been cheated on: YEPP (Didn't change because it happened in 2011)
8: kissed someone and regretted it: I wish   Never kissed and been kissed and to be honest, totally happy with it.  Yeah, first guy I ever kissed was a total stranger.
9: lost someone special: Yepp ): (Dad, in 2007)
10: been depressed: Who isn’t depressed before?  I have been sad, never depressed. People need to stop throwing that word around.
11: been drunk and threw up: Drinking is gross Yepp. So urgh.

15: made a new friend: YES AND IM SO EXCITED    I am always making new friends... This question does not make sense  All the time but I still prefer having a few really close ones.

18: Met someone who changed you: Yes  People change me all the time. (I have grown to realise that all these people I meet in my life, they change me a little each time and I believe it is always for the better or for something I need at that point. Even if they dont change me, I'd like to believe I changed them in some positive ways.) (2016: That insight is still the same)
19. found out who your true friends were: YES and we will be best friends forever and ever   I think there are too many and I dont have to "find" who they are. As long as they are genuine, they are true and undoubtedly my friends.  Many of my friends come and go and that is part of life. I am okay with that but there are some I know love me and I love despite us not having talked or seen each other in a while.
20. found someone was talking about you:Yes and I am so hurt *enters a name*   People talk about me all the time. Sometimes good, other times bad but I don't really care. It is way too trivial. Of course, the good is always nice to know.  It doesn't bother me.
21. Kissed anyone on your FB friends' list : Ew hell no.  Nope (:  Yepp, this guy I dated for awhile. 

GENERAL...
22 How many people in your FB friends list do you know in real life: I only add people I know.  I have 1140 approved friends. I dont know all of them but most I still connect with I have had at least a brush with. Most I guess. Most I met at some point or another and then part ways. 
24 Do you have any pets: Nope 

25. Do you want to change your name: I want to legalise Spacemonkey My official name shall remain as it is. I want future employers to take me seriously. (I still love the Spacemonkey though)
26. What did you do for your last birthday: 2011 was a long time ago but if I am not wrong I went out for dinner with 3 good friends  Celebrated it at church camp. Was surprised with a little tub of ice creamby everyone I love in church.  Still church camp. This time the camp was in a hotel and my mother's attempt was a huge failure when we bumped into her carrying a huge cake. It was nice having a few people from church that I know and love hang around till 3 am in the morning in my friend's suite playing games and catching up. It's hard to see each other so much when we are all busy with adulting in life.
27. What time did you wake up today: 2012 was a long time ago  7am, which made me 45 minutes late for work. Blah.  10am. It's an off day, I am entitled to sleep in.
28. What were you doing at midnight last night: 2012 was a long time ago but I was probably procrastinating some project.  Sleeping. 
29. Name something you cannot wait for: My birthday!  Graduation and Europe trip!  I dont know. Nothing planned for the future really.

31. What is one thing you wish you could change about your life: Everything   I am quite content. Expect maybe I want to work on my patience.  I am thinking about applying for university. But I am not sure.
32. What are you listening to right now: Some TV programme going on  The rhythm of the entire office frantically typing out reports and case notes. Nothing. I was watching an episode of Skins halfway though.
33. Have you ever told to a person named Tom: THIS makes no sense at all. (Even my 2012 self will agree with me)  Yeah, I've got a colleague named Tom but what does it matter?
34. What's getting on my nerves right now: Someone I suppose.  The hunger I'm bearin becausemy metabolis decided to go on a purge and drain all my strength. GAHH.  Nothing really.

38. Relationship status: Complicated Single and so not ready to mingle. So chill out boys.   Single. Waiting on God's instructions.

43. College: Nope. I go to Nanyang Polytechnic though.  Is a place where you get paid for your hardwork in letters not numbers.

52: first surgery: Never had one Stiches in 2013 when i flew off a bike in Australia

54. First best friend: I don't know. Maybe my childhood playmate, my cousin? (I have had so many friends in my life. I really dont remember who my first BFF is.)

71. Romantic or spontaneous:Romance <3  I love the thrill of spontaneity and it is my version of romance.  A good balance of both is good.
72. Nice stomach or nice legs: Stomach On me or on others? SPECIFY! (If it is meant to be for me then legs. Because girls with nice legs always have a nice figure to match)  Ideally I want both but on my partner, whatever makes him happy.
